This depends what you are taking the medicines for. Usually, medication isn't too serious an issue unless you are under the direction of your GP or Specialist for anything quite major.

The list of contra- indications gives you a basic idea, however your own circumstances will differ. In the first instance, please check with your GP or specialist to see if massage is permissible.

The serious conditions invariably will be contra- indicated, or a specific referral as to how I need to work with you in particular regions (ie, you may suffer angina, and could only have very gentle effleurage, rather than firm, deep tissue work which would cause further problems).

So as the saying often goes: if in doubt- get checked out!.
